Indian Air Force pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, who was detained by Pakistan after his MiG 21 crashed on Wednesday in an air engagement along the LoC, will return to country tomorrow. The big announcement was made by Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. Moments later, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi said ‘Pilot project ho gaya’. The news comes as a big relief as India was worried about the safety of its pilot after he went ‘missing in action’ yesterday. Abhinandan’s father S Varthaman was also an Air Marshall. India awaits Wing Commander Abhinandan’s arrival on Friday.
